How is peace accomplished through the work of Christ?

Answered in 1 source

Peace is accomplished through Christ's fulfillment of the law and His sacrificial atonement.

Christ accomplished peace by fulfilling the law and bearing the punishment for our sins. In Ephesians 2:14, it states, 'For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us.' His perfect obedience to the law and sacrificial death dismantled the enmity between humanity and God, providing a way for us to be united with Him. Through His work, all barriers are removed, and we gain peace with God and with one another, confirming that the reconciliation is total and complete.
