How is salvation accomplished through Jesus Christ?

Salvation is centered on the person of Christ and His atoning work on the cross. Ephesians 1:7 states that in Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace. This grace is not dependent on human effort but is entirely a gift from God, reflecting His sovereign mercy. The calling of God is specific; Acts 10 reminds us that salvation is for God's chosen people.
