How is the promise of life manifested to believers?

Answered in 1 source

The promise of life is manifested through the proclamation of the gospel and the internal witness of the Holy Spirit.

The manifestation of the promise of life occurs in two key dimensions: externally through the gospel and internally through the indwelling Holy Spirit. Externally, Paul writes in 2 Timothy 1:10 that the promise is made manifest by the appearing of Christ, who brought life and immortality to light through the gospel. This manifestation is witnessed through the preaching of the gospel, where believers come to understand and trust in Christ’s redemptive work. Internally, the Spirit of God gives reassurance to believers, as described in Romans 8:16, where the Spirit testifies with their spirit that they are children of God. This internal conviction strengthens the believer's faith and compliance to live in light of the promise.
