How long will the work of the ministry continue?

Ephesians 4:13 indicates that the work of the ministry will persist 'till we all come in the unity of the faith.' This suggests that the spiritual edification of the church and the preaching of the Gospel will remain necessary until Christ returns for His church. God has ordained that through the ministry, believers will be nurtured in their faith, and the faithful preaching of the Gospel will continue to draw God's chosen people to Him.
