How should Christians handle decisions that could offend others?

Answered in 1 source

Christians are called to consider the potential impact of their decisions on fellow believers and avoid causing offense.

In 1 Corinthians 8:9, it is emphasized that believers must take care that their freedom does not become a stumbling block to the weak. This principle urges Christians to be mindful of how their actions affect others, especially in matters not explicitly addressed in Scripture. Decisions which may be morally neutral can still have consequences for fellow believers; therefore, it is wise to abstain from practices that could offend or weaken another’s faith. This promotes the health of the church body and the fellowship of believers, reflecting the love and consideration we are called to show one another.
