How should Christians judge one another according to the Bible?

Answered in 1 source

Christians are called to judge righteously and with discernment, avoiding harsh or hasty judgments of one another.

According to biblical teaching, Christians are instructed to exercise righteous judgment, as outlined in 1 Corinthians 4 and Matthew 7. Paul emphasizes that while judgment is inevitable, it must be approached with caution and humility. Instead of making rash judgments based on outward appearances or assumptions, believers are to judge with discernment, understanding that only the Lord knows the true state of the heart. Judging with grace allows fellow believers to grow and encourages unity within the body of Christ instead of division. Moreover, any judgment that leads to division or haughtiness is contrary to the spirit of the gospel and should be avoided.
