How should Christians respond to affliction?

Answered in 2 sources

Christians should respond to affliction by crying out to God and remembering His faithfulness.

In times of affliction, the biblical response, as demonstrated by the psalmist Asaph, is to earnestly seek God in prayer. The responses of crying out reflect an acknowledgment of our reliance on God and His sovereignty over our circumstances. Additionally, Christians are called to remember God’s past faithfulness and the redemptive work of Christ. Jesus promised tribulations in this world, yet also provides comfort in His presence. By reflecting upon God's grace and the salvation He has provided, believers can find the strength and consolation needed to endure hardships.
