How should Christians respond to corrupt governments?

Answered in 1 source

Christians are called to respect governing authorities while remaining vigilant against their moral failings.

While acknowledging that governments are ordained by God, Christians must remember that these institutions are filled with depraved men and often function under the influence of the dragon. As stated in Romans 13, believers are instructed to render unto Caesar what is due but not to place their hope or spiritual well-being in these authorities. Instead, they should obey God's law above man’s law, discerning when to submit and when to resist. This balances respect for governmental authority with the commitment to uphold God's truth, even when such a stance may lead to persecution or conflict.
