How should Christians respond to fear and anxiety?

Answered in 1 source

Christians are called to bring their fears and anxieties to God, who promises peace to those who trust in Him (Philippians 4:6-7).

Fear and anxiety are common experiences, especially during challenging times. The Bible encourages believers to respond by bringing their concerns to God in prayer. In Philippians 4, Paul advises Christians to not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, to present their requests to God. This act of surrender results in the 'peace of God, which transcends all understanding.' By placing our confidence in God’s providence and care, believers can experience a deep, abiding peace that guards their hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
