How should Christians respond to Jesus' call?

Answered in 1 source

Christians should respond to Jesus' call with faith and willingness to share their testimony of His works.

In the story of the healed demoniac in Mark 5, the man's response to Jesus' call was immediate and profound; he desired to follow Jesus after being freed from bondage (Mark 5:18-19). Jesus, however, instructed him to return home and tell others what the Lord had done for him. This illustrates the essential response of every believer: to share the testimony of Christ’s redemptive work in our lives. As Christians, we are called not just to follow Christ but also to proclaim His grace and mercy to others. Our lives should be characterized by a willingness to testify about the great things God has done, emphasizing the transformative power of the Gospel.
