How should Christians respond to their inward sin?

Answered in 1 source

Christians should confess their inward sin, knowing that Jesus is faithful to forgive and cleanse us.

In Romans 8, Paul acknowledges the struggle with sin that all believers face. While our old sin nature remains, we are called to acknowledge our shortcomings. When we confess our sins, we receive assurance of forgiveness due to Christ's intercession. Through His cleansing power, believers are able to serve God with a clear conscience. This ongoing process of confession and cleansing not only enables us to grow in holiness but reassures us of our standing in Christ and His unwavering love.
