How should Christians respond to their pride?

Answered in 1 source

Christians should repent of their pride and seek God's grace to reveal their need for Him.

The call for Christians is to recognize and despise their pride, following the example found in Isaiah 23:9. When we confront our pride, we should cry out to God, asking Him to stain it and bring us to the end of ourselves. This humility is essential as it leads to true repentance and acknowledgment of our need for Christ's righteousness. Instead of polishing pride, we must embrace our nakedness before God, coming to Him as beggars in need of mercy and grace. Recognizing our pride can serve as a launching point for deeper faith.
