How should Christians respond to trials and difficulties?

Answered in 1 source

Christians should trust God's sovereignty and glorify Him in all circumstances, acknowledging His goodness.

In light of God's sovereign control, Christians are called to respond to trials with trust and praise. As seen in the example of Job, he declared, 'The Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord' (Job 1:21). This response reveals a heart that acknowledges God's overarching authority in circumstances, both good and bad. In Psalm 34:1, David encourages believers to 'bless the Lord at all times,' recognizing that every event is under God's wise and loving hand. This attitude of praise, even in adversity, glorifies God and strengthens our faith.
