How should Christians respond to unconverted persons?

Answered in 1 source

Christians should love and pray for unconverted persons while recognizing there can be no true unity with them in spiritual matters.

The response of Christians to unconverted individuals should be one of love and compassion, as evidenced by the call to pray for and witness to them. However, Scripture makes it clear that there can be no spiritual unity with those who remain unconverted. Ephesians 5 cautions against partnering or having fellowship with the works of darkness, as the mindset of the unconverted is characterized by ignorance and hardness of heart. Christians are to live as light in the world, demonstrating the difference Christ makes in their lives, while avoiding compromises that undermine their witness.
