How should Christians run their race of faith?

To run the race of faith effectively, Christians must keep their aim—eternal life and fellowship with God—in clear view. As directed in Hebrews 12:1, believers are encouraged to run with patience, looking unto Jesus as the author and finisher of their faith. This entails a conscious effort to resist sin, pursue holiness, and utilize means of grace, such as prayer and the Word of God, to fortify their faith.
