How should we respond to the preaching of the Gospel?

Answered in 1 source

We should believe the Word of God and seek to share it with others.

The response to the preaching of the Gospel should be one of belief and action. As the disciples on the Road to Emmaus experienced, hearing the Word of God opened their eyes to recognize Jesus. They felt their hearts burning within them, signifying a transformative encounter with Christ through the Scriptures. This experience should compel us to abide in Christ and share the good news with others, demonstrating our faith through our actions and conversations. The call for Christians is to not only embrace the gospel themselves but also to communicate it to the world, echoing the very heart of the Great Commission.
