How should we respond to the suffering of others?

Answered in 1 source

We should enter into their suffering and support them as members of the same body in Christ.

Hebrews 13 exhorts believers to remember those who are in bonds and to empathize with their suffering. The message stresses that as part of the body of Christ, we are called to genuinely engage with the trials of our brothers and sisters. This engagement requires a willingness to share in their burdens, recognizing that our spiritual journey involves joy and sorrow alike. When we acknowledge our interconnectedness, we fulfill the command to love one another, thus reflecting Christ's compassion and solidarity with us through our own sufferings.
