Is it wrong to pray to Jesus or the Holy Spirit?

Answered in 1 source

It is not wrong to pray to Jesus or the Holy Spirit, as all three persons of the Trinity are God.

Although traditional teachings emphasize praying to the Father through the Son and by the Spirit, it is perfectly acceptable to address any person of the Trinity in prayer. The Scriptures provide examples, such as Stephen praying to Jesus while being stoned (Acts 7:59) and the prayers of Paul addressing both the Father and the Holy Spirit. John Gill asserts that God in His three persons is a proper object of prayer. The key is to pray with reverence and sincerity, acknowledging the divine nature of each person involved in our prayers.
