What are the consequences of human depravity?

Answered in 1 source

Human depravity leads to spiritual blindness, inability to seek God, and ultimately, condemnation without Christ.

The consequences of human depravity are far-reaching and dire. Scripture asserts that because of our sinful nature, we are blind to the truth of God and inherently hostile towards Him. Romans 3:17-18 states that people do not know the way of peace and have no fear of God before their eyes. This inability to seek God results in condemnation, as the true nature of each person’s heart is shown through their actions and disobedience. Without acknowledging our state of depravity, we cannot understand our need for redemption through Jesus Christ, who alone can restore our relationship with God.
