What assurance do Christians have because of the resurrection?

Answered in 1 source

Christ's resurrection assures believers of their own resurrection and of having a representative in heaven.

The resurrection provides profound assurance to Christians: it represents the promise of our own resurrection, as well as our current representation in heaven by Jesus. 1 Corinthians 15:22 tells us that 'as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.' This assurance assures believers they will be raised in His likeness. Furthermore, Hebrews 7:25 emphasizes that since Christ is risen, He lives to make intercession for us, providing continual access to God and demonstrating His everlasting commitment to our salvation.
