What can separate us from the love of God?

Answered in 3 sources

Nothing can separate believers from the love of God, whether tribulation, distress, or anything else (Romans 8:35-39).

Romans 8:35-39 provides a powerful assurance that absolutely nothing can sever our relationship with the love of God that is in Christ Jesus. Paul catalogs potential threats—tribulation, distress, persecution, and others—to illustrate that no external forces, spiritual or material, can diminish God's love for His people. This promise assures Christians of their security; regardless of life's trials or the adversities they face, God's love remains a constant, unyielding reality. It's an invitation to find comfort and strength amid struggle, rooted in the unchanging nature of God's covenant love.
