What can we learn from Solomon’s response to the Queen of Sheba?

Answered in 1 source

Solomon’s response teaches us about the generosity and readiness to share God’s wisdom.

Solomon's interaction with the Queen of Sheba reveals much about his character and the nature of godly leadership. When the Queen arrived with questions and gifts, Solomon was not only willing to engage with her but also eager to share all that was on his heart—he 'told her all her questions' without reservation (1 Kings 10:3). This behavior exemplifies the ideal of servant leadership, where one willingly imparts knowledge and wisdom, reflecting God’s generosity. In a similar vein, Christians are called to be generous with what they have received from God, sharing the wisdom of the Gospel with others. Just as Solomon's wisdom was made known to those who sought it, believers are encouraged to share the treasures of wisdom found in Christ, who answers every question of the heart.
