What changes occur in a believer's life through grace?

Answered in 1 source

Through grace, a believer experiences a change of mind, heart, and behavior that aligns with God's will.

The transformative power of grace in a believer's life is multi-faceted. Initially, it involves a change of thought, wherein one acknowledges the reality of their sin and the holiness of God. This is supported by Isaiah 55, which calls for a forsaking of wicked thoughts and a returning to God. As one comes to truly know Christ, there is also a shift in allegiance, accepting Him as Lord and not merely as Savior. Consequently, grace produces observable changes in behavior and character — termed 'manners' in the sermon — leading to a life that reflects the fruits of the Spirit (Colossians 3:12-14). Thus, grace is not only the means of salvation but also the ongoing dynamic that shapes the believer's life in conformity to Christ.
