What comfort do believers have in knowing God sees their sins?

Answered in 1 source

Believers find comfort in knowing that God sees their sins but has provided forgiveness through Jesus.

Knowing that God sees our sins can be a source of fear, yet for believers, it is comforting because it assures us of God's mercy through Christ. As stated in Ephesians 1:4-5, believers are seen as holy and blameless in His sight due to the atoning sacrifice of Jesus. While our sins are known, God's justice does not condemn us if we are in Christ. This leads to the assurance of eternal life and the promise that our sins have been blotted out, providing peace and security in our relationship with God.
