What distinguishes knowledge from wisdom in a Christian context?

Answered in 1 source

Knowledge consists of facts, while wisdom is the application of those truths in knowing and believing Christ.

In the biblical context, knowledge about Scripture does not equate to wisdom. While the scribes possessed knowledge—understanding where the Messiah would be born—they failed to seek Him. True wisdom, as shown by the wise men, lies in knowing and believing in Christ. Wisdom involves a relational understanding of who Jesus is, leading to faith and worship. In contemporary Christianity, it is crucial that believers strive for a heart transformed by grace rather than merely accumulating theological facts.
