What do I need to be saved from?

Answered in 1 source

You need to be saved from sin, self, hell, and the power of Satan.

In the Biblical context, salvation encompasses deliverance not just from the penalty of sin but also from the various consequences of sin and the danger posed by spiritual forces. Believers recognize their need to be saved from hell, acknowledging the wrath that is to come, and from themselves, as we often find that our sinful nature leads us astray. Furthermore, Satan is seen as a real threat, depicted in Scriptures as a roaring lion seeking to devour. True salvation assures believers a safeguard against these dangers through faith in Christ.
