What does being bought with a price mean for Christians?

Answered in 1 source

Being bought with a price signifies that we belong to Christ and should live for Him.

In 1 Corinthians, the Apostle Paul teaches that we have been bought with a price and are not our own. This emphasizes that our lives are now to be lived in service to the Lord Jesus Christ. Like the Egyptians who sold themselves and their land to Joseph during the famine, we must willingly submit ourselves to Christ's lordship. This transaction ensures that our lives have been redeemed from sin, and we are to live in a way that reflects His glory and purpose rather than our own. Our entire existence is to be devoted to acknowledging and serving our Savior, who has purchased our freedom and life.
