What does being united with Christ mean for believers?

Answered in 1 source

Being united with Christ means believers share in his righteousness, life, and inheritance.

Union with Christ indicates that believers are spiritually connected to Him in his death, resurrection, and life. This profound theological concept affirms that through this union, we have forgiveness of sins and the righteousness of Christ imputed to us. As discussed in the sermon, every believer united with Christ will hear the Father say, 'Thou art my beloved Son.' This union also entails adoption into God's family and ensures that believers share in the glory and blessings of Christ's resurrection (Ephesians 1:4-5), anchoring our hope and identity in Him.
