What does faith in Jesus look like?

Answered in 1 source

Faith in Jesus is marked by confidence in His ability to meet our needs, as evidenced by Jairus's request.

Jairus's encounter with Jesus exemplifies true faith. He came to Jesus with the firm belief that if Jesus would lay His hands on his daughter, she would live. This unwavering confidence showcases how true faith in Christ is not mere belief, but a deep assurance in His power and willingness to intervene in our lives. Faith is recognizing Jesus for who He is—the Lord of life and salvation—allowing us to approach Him boldly with our requests. Moreover, faith involves a journey that requires us to continually seek and rely on Christ, even when faced with obstacles, as Jairus did when he was faced with despair about his daughter's death. It leads us to trust in His timing and His ways, knowing that He ultimately works everything for our good.
