What does glorying in the Lord mean?

Answered in 1 source

Glorying in the Lord means acknowledging and valuing Him above all else.

To glory in the Lord, as encouraged in Jeremiah 9:24, is to place our highest value on knowing God and His attributes. This involves recognizing His character, His sovereignty, and His actions in our lives. It is a call to be satisfied in the relationship we have with Him, seeing His loving kindness, judgment, and righteousness as the true measures of worth in our lives. When we glory in the Lord, we shift our reliance from worldly wisdom and riches to the everlasting truth of who God is and what He has done for us through Christ.
