What does God's wrath mean?

Answered in 1 source

God's wrath is His righteous judgment against sin, which all who reject Christ will face.

God's wrath refers to His holy anger against sin and rebellion. As Romans 1:18 declares, the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men. It is important for believers to understand that while they have been saved from wrath (1 Thessalonians 5:9-10), the unbeliever remains under this judgment. The cross reveals God's justice; while punishing sin through Christ, it offers salvation to those who believe.
