What does it mean that Christ is our object of worship?

Answered in 1 source

It means that all our worship and hope center on Christ, who continually intercedes and dwells with us.

In Exodus 29:42-46, the promise is made that God will meet with His people at the tabernacle, a representation of Christ who fulfills this in a far greater way. Worship becomes a response to the realization of Christ's continual presence and intercession. As He dwells among His people, believers are invited to approach Him with reverence, knowing that they will be accepted not based on their merit but through His righteousness. This understanding fosters a vibrant and sustaining relationship, wherein Christ is glorified and worshiped continually as the source of life and salvation.
