What does it mean that Christ is our perfect understanding?

Answered in 1 source

Christ is our perfect understanding as He reveals the fullness of God to us.

When we say that Christ is our perfect understanding, it means that through Him, we come to know the nature and will of God fully. In Colossians 2:3, it states, 'In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.' This signifies that our true comprehension of life, morality, and purpose is found in the person of Christ. The sermon illustrates that through Christ, believers gain insight into all aspects of existence, and by focusing on Him, they embrace the entirety of God’s revelation which leads to a transformative journey of faith. Knowing Christ means understanding the heart of God's character and His love for humanity.
