What does it mean that Christ is the foundation of our faith?

In the context of faith, Christ is described as the cornerstone and sure foundation for all believers. This is affirmed in 1 Corinthians 3:11, where it states that no one can lay any other foundation than that which is already laid, which is Jesus Christ. The assurance of salvation and eternal life rests upon His completed work, not on our efforts. This means that believers have a solid ground upon which to stand, regardless of human failures or worldly influences. Our house, which represents our faith and assurance in God, is built on this unshakeable foundation.
