What does it mean that Christ's kingdom is assured?

The assurance of Christ's kingdom stems from the certainty of His reign and the completion of His redemptive work on the cross. Jesus confidently declared to Pilate that He came to bear witness to the truth, and every believer who is 'of the truth' hears His voice (John 18:37). This assurance gives Christians hope and confidence that the Gospel will ultimately prevail.
