What does it mean that God is our dwelling place?

Moses begins Psalm 90 by declaring, 'Lord, thou has been our dwelling place in all generations.' This metaphor illustrates that God is not only our Creator but also the ultimate sustainer and protector throughout our lives. This dwelling place assures us of His eternal presence, guiding us and providing refuge in times of affliction.
