What does it mean that God sent His Word?

Answered in 1 source

When God sent His Word, He provided Jesus Christ as the ultimate answer to our spiritual and physical afflictions.

The sending of God's Word refers to the incarnation of Christ, as described in John 1 where it states, 'In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.' This Word, made flesh, is the solution to humanity's greatest ailment—sin. In Psalm 107:20, it is clear that healing is offered through this Word, which conveys truth, hope, and salvation. Every healing Jesus performed pointed to His ultimate mission: to address our spiritual death and bind up the brokenhearted. Thus, His Word is both a means of physical healing and the source of spiritual life.
