What does it mean that Jesus Christ is the Prince of the kings of the earth?

In Revelation 1:5, Jesus is referred to as the Prince of the kings of the earth, which signifies His ultimate authority over all earthly rulers and governments. This title illustrates that Christ reigns supreme and sovereign, exercising a dominion that transcends all human authority. His kingship assures believers that regardless of earthly circumstances, God’s plan is in effect and His purposes will prevail. As His followers, we are encouraged to view every earthly authority as under Christ's sovereign rule, offering peace and confidence that His reign is eternal and unshakeable.
