What does it mean that Jesus was without sin?

Answered in 1 source

Being without sin means Jesus was impeccable and different from all humanity (2 Corinthians 5:21).

The concept of Christ being without sin speaks to His impeccable nature as both fully God and fully man. Because He was without sin, Jesus is the perfect sacrifice, able to take on the sins of humanity without being tainted by them. 2 Corinthians 5:21 says that He who knew no sin became sin for us. This underscores the significance of His sinlessness; it made Him uniquely qualified to bear the weight of our transgressions while remaining holy. His capacity to resist temptation where humanity fails is a cornerstone of the believer's confidence in His redemptive work.
