What does it mean that Jesus will not put believers to shame?

Answered in 1 source

Believers in Christ are promised not to experience shame because of their faith and acceptance of Him.

The assurance that believers shall not be put to shame is rooted in Romans 10:11, which expresses that faith in Christ leads to salvation and security. Unlike the shame we deserve because of our sins and unfaithfulness, those who trust in Jesus will never be forsaken. The preacher emphasizes that while we are rightfully ashamed of our sin, in Christ, we have a new standing, and God is not ashamed to call us His children. This profound truth provides comfort and hope as believers look forward to their eternal relationship with Christ.
