What does it mean to arm ourselves with the mind of Christ?

In 1 Peter 4:1, believers are instructed to arm themselves with the same mind as Christ. This involves a mental and spiritual preparation to endure suffering in the flesh, emulating Christ's attitude toward suffering and the will of God. Jesus faced the ultimate suffering with obedience and purpose, and He calls His followers to do the same.
