What does it mean to be a blessing according to the Bible?

Answered in 1 source

To be a blessing means to be transformed by God's grace and to impact others positively through the gospel.

Being a blessing, as indicated in Zechariah 8:13, refers to the transformative effect of God's salvation on His people. Once a curse, God promises to make His people a blessing among the nations. This change reflects how redeemed individuals now represent God’s favor and grace to the world. Blessed individuals are called to proclaim the gospel, thus sharing the good news that brings hope. They become instruments of God's grace who positively influence the lives of those around them, thereby fulfilling their purpose as vessels of His blessing.
