What does it mean to be a 'bond slave' of Christ?

Answered in 1 source

Being a bond slave of Christ means serving Him willingly out of gratitude for His redemption.

The New Testament uses the term 'bond slave' to denote a voluntary servant who, out of love for their master, chooses to serve indefinitely. In 1 Corinthians 7:23, Paul reminds Christians that they were bought with a price, thus calling them to live in a way that reflects their allegiance to Christ. As redeemed individuals, believers are to willingly submit themselves to His lordship, responding to His grace with a heart full of love and dedication. This relationship is characterized by joy in serving the Savior who has released them from the debt of sin and granted them eternal life.
