What does it mean to be a faithful Christian?

Answered in 1 source

A faithful Christian is someone who depends on Christ for their righteousness and remains steadfast in faith.

To be a faithful Christian means recognizing one's inability to achieve righteousness apart from Christ. Faithfulness is characterized by belief in Christ's sufficiency as the substitute for sin (Galatians 2:20). This dependence on Christ leads to a life of obedience that genuinely reflects faith in God's promises and character. Believers are assured that despite their struggles, it is God's faithfulness that sustains them and that their very faith is a gift from Him (Ephesians 2:8-9).
