What does it mean to be accepted by God?

Answered in 3 sources

Being accepted by God means that through Christ's sacrifice, believers are considered perfect and without condemnation.

Acceptance by God is based solely on the work of Christ rather than our righteousness. Romans 8:1 says, 'There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus.' This acceptance is a result of being sanctified through the offering of Christ's body once for all. It reassures believers that despite their unworthiness, they are counted as perfect before God because of Christ's righteousness imputed to them. This profound truth transforms the believer's identity and outlook.
