What does it mean to be an instrument for God?

Answered in 1 source

Being an instrument for God means allowing Him to work through us to accomplish His divine purposes.

To be an instrument for God involves being willing to act according to His commands and going beyond our understanding or comfort. The example of the servants at the wedding in Cana illustrates that when God calls us to a task, He also provides the means to accomplish it. By obeying His word, we can be conduits of His grace and mercy in the world. This concept encourages believers to seek opportunities to serve God and fulfill His purposes by being responsive and obedient to His calling, no matter how challenging the task may seem. Being God's instrument means relinquishing personal ambitions and desires in favor of His will.
