What does it mean to be created for good works?

Answered in 1 source

Being created for good works means that God has ordained us to live out our faith actively.

Ephesians 2:10 states that we are 'created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.' This means that as believers, we are not only saved from sin but also called to actively participate in good deeds that reflect our faith. These good works are evidence of our transformation and are prepared by God for each of us. They are not a means to earn salvation but a response to the grace we have received. Understanding this helps Christians to live purposefully, recognizing that our actions have significance in the kingdom of God.
