What does it mean to be part of God's Israel?

Answered in 2 sources

Being part of God's Israel signifies being among the redeemed, chosen, and beloved people of God through faith in Christ.

To be a part of God's Israel extends beyond ethnic lineage; it refers to all who place their faith in Christ and are thus engrafted into the covenant community. The true Israel comprises not only the historical nation of Israel but also includes Gentiles who trust in Jesus for salvation (Romans 9:6-8). This identity as God’s people carries the assurance of His protection and blessings, as noted in Scripture (Deuteronomy 7:6). Being part of God's Israel means sharing in His promises and participating in the joy of salvation and eternal life, a joyful inheritance secured by grace through faith (Ephesians 2:12-13).
