What does it mean to be part of God's remnant?

Answered in 1 source

Being part of God's remnant means being among those whom He has sovereignly chosen to preserve and save.

To be part of God’s remnant signifies being among those individuals whom God elects out of grace, demonstrating His commitment to maintain a faithful people. In Romans 11, Paul points out that even during Elijah's time, God had set aside 7,000 who had not bowed to Baal. Being part of the remnant means recognizing our identity as chosen ones who live out our faith in a world that often opposes God. This also implies that believers are not alone in their struggles but are part of a larger body that transcends time and cultural barriers, all united under the lordship of Jesus Christ.
