What does it mean to be part of God's workmanship?

Answered in 1 source

Being part of God's workmanship means we are created and shaped by Him for good works (Ephesians 2:10).

Ephesians 2:10 states, 'For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.' This metaphor of workmanship illustrates that we are masterpieces in the making, crafted by God for specific purposes. It signifies a continuous process of sanctification wherein God shapes us and empowers us to fulfill His will through acts of service that glorifies Him. The emphasis on 'created in Christ Jesus' also underscores our new identity as believers who are being molded into the likeness of Christ, resulting in a life characterized by good works as an expression of our faith.
